I love my iPod... in fact I have an older shuffle and the new touch... the thing is great... however this new damn shuffle that they just announced is insane. Do we really need the damn thing to be this small? What is the number one attribute of small items.... THEY GET LOST EASY! Look at this damn thing, people want MP3 players to listen to music... not to become the worlds smallest gadget. Apple, which is usually on top of everything, dropped the ball on this... Completely ridiculous...

Another Sheed Meltdown... Plus RIP speaking up...

If this doesnt sum up the Pistons season... I dont know what does. I missed the game and honestly, I forgot they were even on tonight... However, getting home and checking to see if the Wings beat the Sharks and I see another damn Pistons loss!!

This season is a complete mess and there isnt a reason for anyone to go out and see these guys at the Palace any more. Sheed's little meltdown sparked a run for the Hornets which caused Detroit to drop their 8th straight... (first time they have dropped 8 in a row since the '95-95 season)

This team is in a complete tailspin... They do not have a leader, they do not have any young talent, and they do not have a damn coach worth a damn. 

To top it all off the locker room is about to implode... publicly. Rip is axing the whole "coming off the bench" idea now that they are losing every damn game. Honestly, Rip and McDyess are the only guys on that team right now that are showing any sign of life. Stuckey has turned a "nice" little stretch of good games earlier in the year into a fluke with his piss-poor play. It is good however that he has went from someone that looks like they could be a nice corner piece of a solid team to one of the most overrated players in the league. 

Dont expect this to stop either... Next three games are; @ Orlando, @ Boston and then a homecoming for Chauncey and the Nuggets back at the Palace. I completely expect Chauncey and Melo to pop this Pistons and cap this streak at 11 straight losses. 

This team is a complete joke, tank the rest of the year and pray for a lucky ping pong ball...

What in the hell is the matter with the idiots that are working at Xbox Live! First off, this poor girl gets harassed to all hell about having "lesbian" in her profile. Now, I have been a member of the Xbox Live community for a while now... the behavior from some of these people is out of control. 

Yet, it appears that the crew at Xbox Live are trying to trump out idiotic their users are. This chick should get a few free months for even putting that in her profile! I will be awaiting to see the follow up to this article.

March Madness is coming up!!

Obviously March Madness is fantastic and simply amazing. However, it is always a complete pain in the ass when you are either stuck in class, at work or something else that handcuffs you from watching the first few games....

 To top it all off usually the best stuff happens on those first two days. Well, CBS has been doing this the last couple years and I am still shocked that everyone doesnt know about it. As a matter of fact, I was watching games last year on my laptop while sitting in class! The only thing that could make this better was if they could get it working on my Blackberry!!

Reason Behind The Name: John McClane's Hangover

Trying to come up with a great name for a blog is damn near impossible... However, I had one that I really liked "40 oz. Dash"... Yet, a buddy of mine and I were going to do together a few years ago... (he started it so I cant just take it over)

So I was thinking about great things... and great times... and great people... John McClane and Die Hard was pretty much the only thing that kept popping into my head. I love talking about Die Hard and how John McClane is the biggest bad ass in movie history. The best part about McClane is that he saves everyone with a killer hangover. Thus, John McClane's hangover... 

BAM! Saturday at Work During a Blizzard!

Besides the fact that there is a blizzard going on here in Metro-Detroit... bunch of stuff I want to hit on...

• This would never happen in my high school.

First off... Let me say that it is a "good story" and lately in sports there have not been too many of these to go around. However, I will say that growing up lettering in everything from football to track...this would NOT have happened in my high school.

I grew up in a little area (Lapeer County) and played in the S.T.A. playing against teams nearly twice the size as us. We HATED all the teams that we played and they hated us. Bottom line in all this is that the Coach made the mistake of not putting all his players in the scorebook... and that is the reason I wouldnt feel bad at all toeing the line and knocking down two free throws. 

• Talk about a kid playing out of position...or is he the most athletic kicker ever?

So let me get this straight... this idiot can bench more than two of the top tackles in the NFL draft? I am not sure what angle to take on this... basically the lineman need to start hitting the rack a little harder or the kids at USC need to lay off the juice!

To be quite honest with you... I am a little shocked we do not see this a lot more...then again kickers usually do not need to run the 40 or hit the bench at the NFL combine. All these guys have to do is kick and lift!! All the kickers should be running sub 4.8 40's and hitting 225 (what the guys at the combine rep) at least 10-15 times.

• Bars in Michigan to go from 2 am closing time to 4 am closing time...

If I worked at a bar I would be all for this. However, as a frequent visitor of bars, I would rather our state Government get this to pass!!  I still cannot believe that I have to put up with cigarette smoke when I go out... I would rather fend off stray bullets...wait... what is the difference? 

Anyways, we talked about this today at work on one of the shows and a few cops called in saying that there would be more problems and more issues to deal with. Personally, I like going back to my place after and saving money if we continue to drink after hours....

• Lock of the weekend?

Slumdog Millionaire should win running away. However, to be honest... I dont care if it doesnt (however, here is a reported leaked list of the winners) . These awards are so overrated and pimp these idiotic movies all the time. Die Hard (obviously the greatest movie of all time) never won best picture! That just proves that the people voting on this are clueless. I will not be watching the Oscars at all... as a matter of fact I will be waiting for HBO's new show to come on... with the Oscars as an afterthought.

• Deron Williams owns Chris Paul (Deron 9-2 all time vs CP3)

The best rivalry in the NBA happens to be on later this evening (9pm EST on NBATV.) I am so sick and tired of Chris Paul. His crying and bitching during the games, the fans of the league pimping this guy being the best player since Jordan and everything in between. Deron Williams has won more than Paul has and head to head he wins virtually every time. Deron and the Jazz have taken out the Celtics and Lakers over the past few games and are one of the hottest teams in the league. 

Utah will win tonight... they will get healthier (Deron finally 100% and Boozer coming back w/in the next week) and Deron will lead them further in the playoffs than Paul and the Hornets. Paul... just keep the tears for the locker room tonight after Deron crosses you up like Iverson putting Jordan down. 

• Youtube is simply amazing!!

Vince the Shamwow guy is back! This guy is something else... I thought I had seen the last of him...but I guess not. This video came across my way this morning... Simply stunning that someone would even run ad. However, everyone seems to love it. 

On a side note, I would really like this thing! I mean it does seem like it would be easy to clean up and it does have a nice purpose. I hate cutting stuff up!! 

• Conan O'Brien makes the switch!!

I love Conan and he is the only late night show that I really watch. I cannot wait for him to start his new shift. Jay Leno was a terrible lead in for Conan... I really expect Conan to really blow up and become even more mainstream over the next year.
